All new Ford Figo Lifestyle -launched
Meet the all-new Ford Figo Freestyle, Ford’s answer to the Toyota Etios Cross and The Renault Sandero Stepway.
The Figo Freestyle is an SUV inspired hatch as such it gets SUV-inspired exterior design features, including redesigned bumpers with skid plates, wheel arch mouldings, roof rails as well as a higher ground clearance (190mm) and sits on 15 inch alloy wheels.
The interior gets redesigned seats with blended seat patterns and contrast stitching as well as decor elements on the doors. The base Trend model comes with manual air conditioning, a conventional audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, remote central locking, reverse parking aid, electric windows and mirrors as well as dual front airbags.
The range-topping Titanium model comes with automatic climate control, Ford’s Sync3 touchscreen infotainment system (with Apple Carplay and Android Auto), automatic headlights and wipers, keyless start as well as side and curtain airbags.
Both the Trend and Titanium models are powered by the familiar 1.5-litre, three-cylinder normally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 91kW and 150Nm and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
The Ford Figo Freestyle Trend model is priced at R226 700 while the Titanium is priced at R247 500, Both models are sold with a four-year/60 000km service plan and four-year/120 000km warranty.
